UPDATE - Artifact #27

I located some packaging. It tells us a tad bit more but still no patent number, no city or company of manufacture or even age. They were sold in wax paper sleeves. But it references record automation, a process that was not practical with fragile shellac. I'd guess that these were from the early 1950s in that case. If anyone knows more please comment.

Slip-not as opposed to Slipknot. Another strange item stuck to a 78rpm record. It's a paper label with felt-powder (aka feltum) on one side, the nap is very short and the fine print reads "patent pending." Nothing else. I found an ebay auction for some with the packaging, but it's in the Netherlands...
