WSNO in Department 56

Department 56 is a manufacturer of holiday collectibles. It is owned by Enesco and based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, MN. As you can imagine, I normally have no business with them or any other purveyor of useless decorative trinkets. But if you or your significant other is interested in ornaments or Christmas village collections (you poor devil) or (ugh) Snowbabies.... you have already heard their name. Their goods already  sit atop doilies in your home.

They are a topic today because there are only a handful of toy radio stations in existence. Children typically want to be the DJ not the station manager. That situation doesn't usually change until after they've decided they're rather be a fireman, or deposited their first paycheck as a DJ. Neither sensation lasts long.
