AFRTS!!!!


The inimitable AFRTS blog here has just posted a rare Wolfman Jack AFRS airforce recruiting disc. He actually recorded a handful of programs for the USAF. I've looked at some online listings of known programs and I can't find this one. It must be "known" to someone but I can't find it. His AFRS program was sponsored by the United States Air Force, and ran weekly with some plugs to your local air force recruiter. . The radio series ran from 1971 until 1977.

    Wolfman did four of those every month for the Air Force. They ended up being aired in the states in the Sunday morning PSA ghetto. They were cut for a company owned by KMPCs Roger Carroll, other shows were by Gene Price and Roland Bynum (all AFRTS jocks),
