An Unfortunate Advertisement

Gaylord Broadcasting still exists as Gaylord Entertainment(NYSE: GET). In past years they owned a number of AM, FM and TV signals across the US including: KYTE-AM, WKY-AM, KYTE-FM, KRKE-AM, and KRKE-FM. The corporation was formed by the merger of The Tampa Television Company and the Oklahoma Publishing Company. They've focused mroe on Television in the last decade but still own WSM.
But what I found interesting was the double entendre in this 1978 advertisement. As early as the 1960s the word "gay" was used to mean homosexual. so this 1978 ad was either a deliberate entendre, or the last time this joke could have been made inadvertently.
