If you ever worked in radio you've probably seen something like this before. I found this sheet inside an all white record sleeve containing a white label LP that I bought from a street vendor. I knew the company name, but I hadn't heard it in a long time. The sheet identified the record as a sigle from the Massive Attack album "Mezzanine," which came out in 1998.
Bold Marketing Promotions was a music promotion company specializing in techno, drum n' bass and other forms of electronic dance music in the 1990s. They existed from about 1995 to 2002, operating from an office at 333 West 52nd Street in New York City. They were still appearing in Indie Artist directories as recently as 2008 but they have been defunct for some time. In that era they were a big service for radio DJs who still used vinyl.
Many labels used to send out their LPs with "Feedback Sheets" like these. Today with digital servicing the idea has all but vanished. Bold! seems to live on as a part of MCT Management today.
