I can't pass by something like this and not make the effort to work out what the code says.
The Morse code that wraps around the left, top and right side is "-.-. --- -. ... - .-. ..- -.-. - .. --- -. --- ..-. .-. .- -.. .. --- .-. . -.-. . .. ...- .. -. --. ... . - ... " That translates to "CONSTRUCTION OF RADIO RECEIVING SETS" which makes perfect sense being the title of the book. The bottom in two rows is "-... -.-- .--. . .-. .-. -.-- .- -. -.. -... ..- -.-. -.-" which translates to "BY PERRY AND BUCK". I was hoping for something more interesting but they were engineers after all.
Excluding books that teach Morse code, there are very few that are adorned with it. There was a redesign of the Burnett book The Secret Garden which used Morse. You can see it here. But most of the time I see it, the code is gibberish.
