Early German Police Radio Hoax

The postcard claims that this is police radio in German circa 1925. I cant' quite read the word on the nameplate in the middle of the loop antenna. I'd expect "Rundfunk" or "Antenne" but it's neither of those. I speak no German so it looked like a bit of a mystery.

But then I found this second image above. This was from a website claiming that it came from a 1923 prank on German police. The word is a bit more legible here... but still unclear. Still, it seems more likely that this was a prank than that any police officer had to strap that device to their back and stagger around expecting to be useful.
