Chris Supranowitz, a researcher at The Insitute of Optics at the University of Rochester has taken an excruciatingly close look at the grooves of a vinyl record using the institute's electron microscope. These are magnified up to 1000 times so even particles of dust look like a greyhound bus parked in the groove. MORE HERE
