Atheist Radio Show

I get frustrated with the monotheistic radio programming in America. For such a diverse and varied nation of beliefs and affiliations the Christians have certainly locked up radio. There used to be a few Jewish radio stations, notably WEVD-AM in New York.. but they are no more. But there are none for Buddhists, Muslims, Pagans, Hindu, or Shinto. But now atheists have one single radio program. I will admit, with great irony I discovered This on Fox News.
Deists may argue that most radio is secular, and therefore pro-atheist. These are the sort of "if-you're-not-with-me-then-you're-against-me" ideologues. It appears in the bible a few times, and is oft quoted.
Matthew: 12:30 He that is not with me is against me...
Mark 9:40 He that is not against us is for us...
It's logically flawed, it's what is called a false dichotomy. Point being most secular programming abstains entirely from the argument, like Switzerland in WWII. That being said. I was pleased to see a fraction more variety...

Hosted by Dan Barker and Laurie Annie Gaylor, the program began on 92.1 WXXM "the Mic" a progressive talker in Madison, Wisconsin. Dan Barker is an former evangelical Christian. He and Annie authored of Losing Faith in Faith, Maybe Yes, Maybe No, and others. Their hour-long program can currently can be heard in about 25 cities and on satellite radio. It's syndicated on Air America if you hadn't guessed. they are also available on the web, steaming and in podcast.

Freethought Radio is a production of the Freedom From Religion Foundation. They are not a pro atheist group so much as a "separation of church and state" group. In that regard they are pro-constitution fundamentalists. To the point of that theme, the programs features include a regular Theocracy Alert. They also cover in the news stories relating to that sacrosanct separation. They interview prominent atheists, agnostics and other freethinkers. Previous guests include bestselling authors Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens and Ron Regan.. the former presidents son.
